- Mitsubishi dealers across Canada collecting food from Sept. 1 to 30

AJAX, ON September 4 TH , 2024 -- As food insecurity continues to rise in communities of all
sizes across the country, AJAX MITSUBISHI and Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada are
partnering with Food Banks Canada and local food banks in our community for the Driving to
End Hunger campaign.

Mitsubishi Motors' Driving to End Hunger campaign officially kicked off on Sunday, Sept. 1 with
its dealerships from coast to coast, including AJAX MITSUBISHI in AJAX, collecting donations
of funds, food and non-perishables. From now until September 30, a record number of
participating Mitsubishi dealerships will be hosting food drives, fundraising events and making
other donations to support their local food banks.

At the national level, MMSCAN is donating $100,000 to Food Banks Canada, which will use that
money to support food insecurity programs across Canada, including in remote communities not
served by a local Mitsubishi dealership.

surrounding GTA communities for over 30 years. Supporting those around us and giving back to
the people who have supported us means everything to our whole team," said Andrew Jugdeo,
Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Ajax Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada President and CEO Kenji Harada said giving back is an
important part of the Mitsubishi way.

"Our slogan is Drive your Ambition, and with this Driving to End Hunger campaign, our ambition
is to help the growing number of Canadians who struggle to afford groceries for their families,"
said Harada. "I'm grateful that nearly every one of our dealerships have joined this fantastic
initiative this year. It shows that Mitsubishi is a brand that cares about making the world a better
place -- right down to the local community level."

As part of this year's Driving to End Hunger campaign, AJAX MITSUBISHI located at 375
Bayly St W, Ajax, ON L1S 6M3 will be collecting donations of food and funds from Sept. 1 to
30. The donations will then be delivered to local food banks between Oct. 1 and 10 in advance
of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada and local dealers will announce the donation totals and share
photos on World Food Day on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
